writers, prizefighters writing network featured on ning blog!

they had this to say

Some of the most popular and notorious writers are known to be eccentric and unconventional when it comes to novelizing. What better place for these paper and typewriter junkies to connect with one-another than on the self-titled network Writers, Prizefighters & Caffeine Inspired All-Nighters?

Bringing together an elite group of 120 “contenders” vying for the public’s adornment over their writing, members showcase their well-worded masterpieces through the network’s blog. Works like Paul Grimsley’s “lithomancy trajectory“, Logan Carryall’s “Confession for the forgotten years“, and Von Neumann’s Catastrophe’s “transmat manifesto” shine with allegorical praise and awed insight.

Writers, Prizefighters & Caffeine Inspired All-nighters is a place chock-full with members producing eloquent and witty phrases (see the comments). These poetic masterpieces aren’t written by the weak-minded. Good company is so hard to find… so put your dukes up to contend.

Currently Reading

We are at present reading the submissions that we have received and we are in the process of finalising the line-up for the first editions of the prose and poetry issues of the magazine. If you have not yet been notified of the status of your submission please remain patient as we will attempt to get back to all of you in due course.

We are hoping to give personalised responses to each and every one of you instead of the usual form letters that is the standard fare of most magazines. This enterprise is about bettering the independent publishing community and we want to offer encouragement to all writers at all levels and constructive criticism where we can because if we all become better writers that can only help us all. Gone are the days where we can climb the ladder and pull it up after us — that selfish attitude has kept the independent writer on the back-foot. As a community we can step forward and step up to meet the challenges that the publishing world has to offer us.

Calling For Submissions

We are currently looking for submissions for our Right Hook (Poetry) and Southpaw Grammar (Prose) editions of our print magazine. More details here.
